This vintage book is in remarkably good shape considering it is over 50 years old. The pages are somewhat yellowed...see the photo of the table of contents. The line drawings are still vibrant and lovely. This offering tells the stories of Perseus, The Argonauts, Theseus and the Twelve Labors of Heracles. The Ancient Greeks have gone down in history as establishing the model for civilization. These stories, though some are not true, tell about heroes of the day. Some, if not all, of their actions denote them as "heroes" and certainly set the bar for what is considered a "hero" to this day. The book contains 215 pages. There are no rips, tears, or signs of wear. Please feel free to ask me anything you would like to know about this lovely book.
