Jason Placemats, set of six cork backed hardboard placemats
The Jason Company began in the 1960s in New Zealand. These placemats are interesting birds apparently from New Zealand and Australia. They do not look familiar to the US. This set is essentially new in the box. No scratches, nicks or repairs. From what I can determine they were produced in the late 1990s. This is a set of mats that will be a conversation starter because they are not on every street corner! The colors are striking and vibrant. As the back label states, they are heat and stain resistant. The box remains free of stain or tears. Mats are smaller than dinner size and would be excellent for luncheon. They measure about 9"x11".
