Hull Pottery vase, water lily pattern
This piece is vintage 1948. This particular vase came in several colors and there are a few out there for sale; but, this is the only white one I was able to find. Actually, it is a very light cream in color with green water lily leaves supporting a yellow bloom with pink center on both sides. The vase is 10 inches tall and about 8 inches wide at the widest point. The vase has two handles. This piece is at least 71 years old and has a good deal of crazing which only adds to the testament of it's age. There is one little chip on the base of the piece. You can see it in the picture of the bottom. To the upper left of the Hull marking notice a very small blimish. The last picture is of the base with the vase sitting upright at the spot where the imperfection happens to be. It is not discernible if the vase is sitting up as it will be on display. This is truly a collector's item. At 70+ years old you know these precious pieces will not be around forever. Please do not hesitate to ask me anything you would like to know about this offering.
