Rosenthal Studio Line soup tureen, Romance pattern, no lid.
Rosenthal Studio Line was developed in the 1950s to appeal to those with more modern taste and interest in avant-garde design. This beautiful piece, made in Germany is of the finest quality. The pattern is essentially white on white. There is a tiny white design on a snowy white background. (see photo for detail) The handles are smooth and delicate. This piece, unfortunately, has no lid. It would be lovely to use with a frog for flowers or as a vegetable dish. There a complete one advertised on another site for $200. I do not believe a lid is worth $100, do you? But this time it is! This bowl will be packed with great care to insure its continued survival!
