Midcentury Modern covered casserole by Godinger Silver Art in the 1970s. This is a striking dish, to say the least. It is heavier than one would expect and is snowy white. The lines of this piece give it a futuristic feel. There are so many dishes I can picture being prepared and served in this dish. This is a perfect piece to take for "pot luck" because it is sturdy enough to hold the head and with a lid, what's to worry? Make sure you have your name on it because given half a chance one of your envious friends might like it as much as we do! Imagine this casserole with a beautiful macaronni and cheese for Thanksgiving. It will hold a quart. What about a sweet potato casserole? Don't get me started! The dish is 8" square, 2 7/8" deep without the lid and 5 1/2" tall with the lid. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have about this piece. It is used but looks brand new. No scratches, cracks, chips, marks or repairs on this piece.
