Royal Worcester China coasters, Woodland pattern, set of 2. These vintage coasters were originally in a set of three and came with a cigarette holder (which was a little dish that would hold about 8-10 cigarettes). Believe it or not, back in the day people actually offered their guests a smoke. My, how times have changed!. These coasters could have been used as individual ash trays although they do not have a rest or indention on which the cigarette would sit. They are more practical as coasters or butter pat dishes. Each coaster is 4 inches in diameter. The Woodland pattern is not easily found. This pattern was produced between 1958-1971 in England. Obviously, they are "used" but are without blimish, crack, chip or repair. They are rimmed around the edge in gold. Please feel free to ask any question you might have about this lovely set.
